Science Research Mentorship Club (SRMC)

What it is

The Science Research Mentorship club aims to allow students to learn how to effectively seek and find mentorship research opportunities over the summer, with Professors. The Science Research elective has become highly competitive, and this club will act as an outlet especially for those who do not get accepted into the elective, any students who are thinking of applying for the elective (with a stronger application), and any high school student who genuinely wants to find a research opportunity for the summer of '27! The club's main goals will be securing a research opportunity for the summer through learning to send "cold emails," read science articles, strengthen and create a resume, communicate with Professors, and get guidance from students who have already been through this process.
